Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is situated in the Great Rift Valley.

Crescent Island Game Sanctuary

Crescent Island Game Conservancy is a wildlife-rich peninsula in Lake Naivasha, Kenya about 80 km from Nairobi. The sanctuary has several walking trails and stunning views of Mt. Longonot, The Aberdares and the Mau Escarpment. Created thousands of years ago the island is ideal for hiking, game viewing and bird watching. Just a two-hour drive from Nairobi, it’s perfect for a day outing or a weekend retreat to enjoy being at one with nature.

A small paradise in the middle of Lake Naivasha. The Island is situated on the Eastern side of Lake Naivasha and forms part of the rim of an extinct volcano protruding out of the lake. With panoramic views from the top of the hill to open plains and thickets of trees by the shores, this island truly is nature at her best. (The island has oscillated between being an island and a peninsula over the years, depending on the lake levels.)

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) Is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. it is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves.

Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system.

Maasai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. Add the conservancies and the area is at least twice the size. It hosts over 95 species of mammals and over 570 recorded species of birds.
