Tour Plan
You are warmly welcomed by our Tour guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and transferred to your hotel in the center of city (check in at 14:00PM, free early check in subject to availability).. Half day city tour begins with Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, pass Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
Have breakfast at hotel, 08:00AM drive to My Tho (about 70-75km), on arrival, get on a private boat cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Phoenix Island. The motorized boat cruises more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee - keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, wonder around a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
After breakfast at hotel, 08:00AM start an excursion to Tay Ninh and Cu Chi Tunnel. Drive to Tay Ninh to visit the famous Cao Dai Temple and attend the noon service of the bizarre Cao Dai sect - an extraordinary combination of all the world's great religions: Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam. Proceed to Cu Chi to visit the military base of Vietnamese Army, a system of tunnels to understand how Vietnamese people lived, struggled and won the war. Return to Ho Chi Minh in late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city
After breakfast at hotel, take a morning flight to Da Nang. On arrival, take a car to Hoi An town, the most tiny town of Vietnam. Hoi An previously was an importance port of Vietnam, where Chinese and Japanese traders had come over to trade and live. Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast at hotel, take a private car from Hoi An ancient town to Cham ruins at My Son, one of the world heritage sites of Vietnam. On the way back, stop at Cao Lau Ferry Boat to get on a boat back to Hoi An, visit Thanh Ha Pottery village & Kim Bong Carpentry village. Back to Hoi An in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast at hotel, take a private car from Hoi An ancient town to Danang and visit Cham museum and then to Hue. Have lunch in Hue and start visit Imperial Citadel tour. Overnight in Hue.
After breakfast at hotel, Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of the past Emperors, and with Orient style – those tombs are almost located near the bank of Hue’s river – Perfume river. Take a drive to visit King Minh Mang tomb, King Tu Duc’s tomb and embark the Dragon boat along Perfume river, enjoy Royal music - World Intangible Heritage, while cruising on the Perfume river and admire sunset on boat. Overnight in Hue.
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport take flight to Hanoi, then transfer directly to Halong bay. Free and overnight in Halong.
After breakfast at hotel, 08:00AM Take a morning boat cruising around the islands, islets, caves and grottos on Halong Bay. Enjoy seafood lunch on boat and stop to visit Thien Cung or Dau Go caves. Drive back to Hanoi & overnight train to Sapa.
Arrive at Lao Cai Train station at about 05.30, get on private car to Sapa. Have breakfast and relax before exploring Sapa town (Check in at 14:00PM, free early check in subject to availability). In the afternoon, take a 2km short trek to Catcat village, the home of H’mong Ethnic. Meet & talk with local people to learn more about their daily life. Overnight in Sapa
After breakfast, drive to Black H'mong villages at Laochaisan and Laochai (15km from Sapa). Take a trek around the village, follow footpath to Giay village in Tavan and trek back to main road for the drive back to Sapa. Overnight train back to Hanoi.
Arrival Hanoi train station at 05:30AM. Transfer to hotel for breakfast (Early check in is not included). Start a trip to Ninh Binh at 08:00AM, Ancient Capital of Vietnam in 10th century. On arrival, visit Dinh – Le temples which were built in memory of the Tran Dynasty Kings who defeated Kublikhan's army. Take a short excursion by bike or by car to Hoa Lu - Tam Coc, have lunch at local restaurant. In the early afternoon, explore Tam Coc (three grottos) by rowing boat through the rice fields, mountain ranges, This Area is considered as “Halong bay on land”. Back to Hanoi and arrive at 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast at hotel, 08:00AM start visiting Hoan Kiem lake, the lake of the Restored Sword, our architecture and our way of life with small streets and its name "Old quarter", Tran Quoc pagoda and Quan Thanh temple. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, visit Van Mieu, the first national university of Vietnam, Ethnology museum. Wander around Hoan Kiem lake then visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy one hour cyclo trip around the trading area in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy water puppet show and overnight in Hanoi.
Leisure time for shopping before departure home.
